As all you older and wiser Kildysart people know life has a habit of going full circle. Kildysart has a rich history of trading and of being a market town and we are delighted and excited to be part of the revival of a weekly Farmers Market each Friday 9am – 2pm in the Community Hall Car Park.

Local farmers, growers, fisher folk and producers will sell a range of locally grown seasonal vegetables & herbs, salad bags and plants along with free range hen and duck eggs. Fresh locally caught fish such as pollack and mackerel, john dorey, lobster and crab at very reasonable rates is also available.Local arts & craft producers can offer original selections of home knits and crochet items, stain glass products, cards, jewellery, window boxes for now.

A good selection of Homemade jams, buns, scones, cakes & bread products will be on offer. Stay and have a cuppa, homemade snack and chat with old and new acquaintances, family & neighbours.

Viv Rooney, Community Development Worker with the West Clare Family Resource Centre will facilitate a group of people who will support and encourage each other to get actively involved in the Community Stall and who may in the future set up their own stalls. New members with new ideas are really welcome.
